Layout of the ground floor:
The stately entrance leads to the central hall, which continues into a more spacious hallway. Here you will find the toilet and the impressive staircase to the first floor. Nice details: the low window, the beautiful stair cupboard under the stairs and the authentic washbasin in the corner. The hall is tiled with old ‘Carrara’ marble floor tiles. The incredibly beautiful, very old floor beams (ceiling height of over 2.8 metres) immediately catch the eye here, and these are also reflected in the living areas.
Two authentic panelled doors in this beautiful hall lead to the three attractive living areas. On the left is a cosy sitting room: a nice place to relax with a good book, ideal as a study, or as a cosy games or TV room for the children. The room has oak parquet flooring.
On the right-hand side, you enter the living room. This fairly deep space is therefore used in two parts. The front part (street side) is now a lovely space where the grand piano stands.
